Senior Software Development Engineer - Web Application Frontend

We are seeking the best and brightest engineering talent to join our CRM Netbreeze team in Zurich where your creativity, passion, and expertise will have a huge impact in taking Microsoft Dynamics CRM to the next level. We believe that social capabilities can play a critical role in enabling companies to develop and manage their customer relationships. Help us deliver a complete CRM solution that includes social monitoring and analytics!

Our CRM Netbreeze team is working on Social monitoring functionality for Microsoft Dynamics CRM to offer our customers comprehensive coverage of social channels including Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, as well as 6,000 online news websites, 18 million blogs and 500,000 message boards. Social media has changed consumer behavior, giving them a very powerful voice that they are not afraid to use. 

Businesses, especially those who are looking to better orchestrate their customers’ experiences, are looking to technology solutions to enable them to listen to what is happening across social media and news channels, monitor sentiment and take effective action to drive sales, optimize campaigns and engender customer loyalty. 

As a Senior Web Application Frontend Software Development Engineer you will:

●Own the front-end application stack
●Work together with product managers to design new functionality
●Implement and integrate various front-end-components
●Own quality of your code (like unit tests, integration tests)
●Be responsible for the technical task definition of user-stories and features
●Coach junior front-end developers

Experience and technical skills:

●M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
●A minimum of 8 years of experience developing frontend web applications
●Excellent JavaScript and Java programming skills
●Experience with popular JavaScript frameworks and node.js as well as developing cross device web-apps
●Client-server and AJAX programming experience
●Solid working knowledge of Web security, Performance optimization (e.g. caching), HTML5/CSS (e.g. web sockets), and RESTful design

Development environment:

Java, GWT, Jersey, Spring, JPA, JMS, Lucene 
JavaScript, CoffeeScript, Node.js, Express.js
Git, Maven

Required non-technical skills:

Besides your technical skills, professional proficiency in English is required, German language knowledge is a plus. For this position, excellent technical communication skills are a must.
