Responsibilities:
The IT Audit Manager is responsible for evaluating Microsoft’s line of business applications, general computer controls, IT infrastructure controls and other systems related risk areas. Additional responsibilities include conducting internal audit projects to include the communication of observations, recommendations and conclusions reached, as well as providing consulting services regarding risk and controls on a wide range of projects and corporate initiatives. Responsibilities include the performance of integrated application reviews (considering both business and IT controls) and systems reviews in support of business process, operational or financial audits performance, infrastructure reviews of systems, processes and technologies and IT operations. Audit results reflect value-added recommendations, process improvements, strengthened internal control and business objective assessments.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Planning and performing value-added integrated audits and reviews of business systems used to support key operations business processes as well as worldwide information security, business and operational systems, and IT operations.
Conducting reviews in highly technical areas of current/emerging technologies including Internet, Intranet, ecommerce, security, distributed computing, firewalls, and Windows 2007
Developing draft audit reports by identifying and gathering support for potential issues, and recommending value added solutions
Supporting the development and use of leading edge MS technology and tools within the Internal Audit group
Utilizing departmental audit systems to manage projects, work papers, risk assessment, reporting and reporting follow-up
Communicating with departmental representatives and client management regarding the project status
Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships with internal and external customers, managers and staff
Keeping current and increasing knowledge in the areas of information security, auditing, business, and company priorities.

Minimum Qualifications: 
5+ years of IT Audit Experience. (This includes IT audit, IT security, IT operations, application development, or product engineering/management with an emphasis on application controls, security, or other compliance-related areas.) 
A BS/BA degree in information systems, computer science, finance/accounting or other related IT field required.
Professional certification such as CISSP, CISA, GIAC, MSDBA, MCSE, CCNA, CPA, and/or MCP.
Ability to communicate highly technical issues to non-technical audiences and demonstrated leaderships and supervisory skills.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally for 2-3 week periods up to approximately 10-20% of the year. 
Excellent understanding of concepts related to information systems audit, information security, general IT controls, application controls and technology risks. 
Strong technology skills including experience with operating systems, security software, network security, telecommunications, database management systems, business and operational applications, system development and project management practices.
Knowledge of current/emerging technology including the Internet, intranet, distributed computing, cryptography, firewalls and electronic commerce, strong knowledge of key MS technologies (IIS, SQL Server, Windows NT, etc.). 
Experience in developing and working with computer aided audit techniques or programming experience.
