Primary objectives are to increase joint Microsoft and Softchoice’s success as measured by MSUS software revenues and unit shipments, partner services and product revenues, and partner satisfaction, with a key focus on driving solutions, sales, share, attach and deployment of Microsoft software, W8 devices and services. In this role you join a team responsible for the end-to-end strategy and execution driving to achieve the goals and overall Microsoft and partner satisfaction with the relationship. This role reports directly to the Director for National LAR.
The person in this role will need very strong leadership skills in bringing together, driving consensus, motivating and activating a virtual team across multiple organizations internally within Microsoft and externally with Softchoice. You will interact broadly across Microsoft’s lines of businesses and customer segments with significant cross group interdependencies.
You will be accountable for both our traditional Volume Licensing business and our Devices and Services strategy with Softchoice, generating insight through data analytics, helping to develop sales motions/approaches to reach new customers and penetrate existing customers with new technology, and general revenue/unit performance goals.

Be able to identify trends in the business and report on them effectively
Deliver thought leadership internally and externally
Qualifications:
8-10 years of direct sales and/or consulting services experience, with proven relationship building with partners and executive engagement success. Broad knowledge of Microsoft licensing, products and competitive offerings. Understanding of Microsoft’s reseller programs and systems integration experience very valuable. Candidate must have strong communication (oral, written, presentation), analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills, be a strategic leader/thinker, action-oriented, customer focused, deal well with ambiguity and managing change, have solid planning and organizational skills with demonstrated execution excellence, and be effective at managing systems and processes. Working effectively with peers and cross-group is critical; strong interpersonal skills and organizational agility are a necessity.
