ACTION CONTRE LA FAIM (ACF) is an International Non-Governmental Organisation (I.N.G.O.) that is charitable, impartial, non-political and non-profit, working under ACF Headquarters in Paris, France. Dedicated to emergency, post-emergency and relief assistance, ACF is specialised in the fields of Nutrition, Food Security and Livelihoods, Water/Sanitation and Health. Since 1994, ACF-Myanmar has been providing assistance to vulnerable populations in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. As an international humanitarian organization involved in emergency programs all ACF staff have to be available at anytime in order to respond to any emergency work, should the need arise. Action Contre la Faim Myanmar is seeking motivated qualified and experienced Nationals for the position of:
DEPUTY ADMINISTRATOR (RE-LAUNCH)
Job Location: Sittwe
Number of position: 1
Duration of the contract: 12 months
Starting date: August 2013
1) GENERAL ASSIGNMENT
Manage administratively the base's human resources, manage the base's accountancy and Maintains and facilitates external relations with local authorities and partners
2) TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate to the management of national staff and ensure administrative follow-up of the files
  • Contribute to exchanging information and to respecting the HR procedures
  • Facilitate and maintain external relations with local authorities and partners
  • Manage travel organisation and authorizations for expatriates and national staff
  • Control the quality of the accountancy
  • Check compliance with purchasing procedures
  • Manage the accounting and administrative documents
  • Carry out the monthly cash forecasts
  • Manage the administration team
3) DEGREE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Diploma / Level of studies : Diploma in Accountancy or administration or Human Resources and professional experience in Administration or Human
  • Resource Required skills : Professionalism – Analytical skills – Good organizer – Communication skills – Sense of confidentiality – Rigour – Honesty – Diplomacy – Flexibility – Autonomy – Good computer skills – Capacity to resist under pressure – Goode knowledge of English
