The Office of Strategic Planning and Development Effectiveness (SPD)
The Office of Strategic Planning and Development Effectiveness (SPD) reports to the Office of the President and the Executive Vice-President and is charged with providing technical guidance to the Executive team in order to develop a culture of results within the Bank, and; to help the Bank innovate its core business, the effectiveness and efficiency of its products and methods over time. The SMO Division is charged with measuring and assessing corporate performance and increasing accountability for results.

Responsibilities

  • Extract data from the Bank's corporate systems in order to conduct analyses about different aspects of corporate performance (see Corporate Results Framework);
  • Support the preparation, launch, and monitoring of online surveys using the Qualtrics online survey platform;
  • Conduct statistical analysis of information using Excel and STATA (by country, sector, product, type of external partner, etc.);
  • Collaborate in updating the Bank's manual system to reflect current business practices;
  • Write reports in English and prepare high impact presentations;
  • Provide analytical support to the different SMO teams in a variety of activities
Qualifications
Educational Background:
Master's degree student or equivalent in in Economics, Business Administration or Computer Science.
Experience: Candidates must have the ability to work independently and to participate in multidisciplinary teams. Strong analytical abilities as demonstrated by academic achievement and other personal achievements. Ability to synthesis large amounts of data and present salient issues. Flexibility to manage multiple demands.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Access, Excel, Word and Power Point
Experience with database management
Languages:
Proficiency in English and Spanish
