The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking for itsInformation and Corporate Centre (ICC) - Information Technology Department (IT) - Technical Support and Architecture Division (TSA) -- at its headquarters in Luxembourg:
Trainee for 5 months
Objective of the traineeship
Participate in the implementation, management, support and maintenance of the Bank's global enterprise level Windows based infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Assist with implementation of IT infrastructure projects
- Assist a team of Windows Engineers with daily engineering tasks and internal second level support requests for Windows Clients & Servers, Active Directory, System Centre
Qualifications
- On-going or completed university studies in information technology or equivalent to at least Bachelor degree level. Master degree level would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Windows system administration (server + client), Active Directory, System Center (SCCM+SCOM)
- Good knowledge of windows scripting languages (PowerShell, vbs, batch)
- Experience in administering and troubleshooting Microsoft technology solutions. In-depth knowledge is required both at the server and the client level
- Very good command of both written and spoken English and good knowledge of French. Knowledge of additional other European Union languages would be an advantage.
