Job Description
ICANN has an exciting new opportunity for a Risk Analyst. The Risk Analyst's key responsibilities are to assist in managing the full Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program, conduct risk ratings analysis and support the various communications needed for several constituencies groups. This may include evaluation of risks associated with the ICANN Insurance Program, departmental risks, and strategic risks potentially impacting ICANN. This role may take on special projects in support of the Executive Team.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Identifies particular risks (operational, strategic, internal, external) relevant to ICANNs corporate objectives
  • Assesses risks in terms of likelihood and impact to the organization
  • Determines risk mitigation plans, in consultation with ICANN Departments and Enterprise Risk Director
  • Performs risk mitigation monitoring duties to ensure proper compliance and reduction of risk impact
  • Assist in annual Risk Evaluation for ICANNs Insurance Policy requirements
  • Other special projects may be assigned as needed

Required Skills
  • Preferred knowledge of COSO (or other risk related framework)
  • Preferred knowledge and use of audit applications (example: ACL)
  • Ability to read, write and converse in English at a level sufficient to conduct job-related business transactions preferred
  • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work independently
  • Able to communicate and work well with others to accomplish goals
  • Proven track record of meeting deliverables requirements in a timely fashion
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required (accounting, business, computer science, economics)
  • Full understanding of Enterprise Risk Management is required
  • Preferred 3-5 years compliance and risk/audit related experience
