IORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT AND SCOPE
Under the overall supervision of the Health Programme Manager, direct supervision of Senior Health Database and M&E Associate, and in support of and coordination with IOM Myanmar Artemisinin Resistance Containment Framework Project (MARC), the incumbent will be responsible for the clientcentred management of programme data.
IRESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1) Strengthen data capture processes of all health projects
- Design, develop, and implement data collection tools and database system for Marc project;
- Conduct routine data quality assurance including on-site data verification;
- Compile and consolidate reports from field project monthly, quarterly, and annually;
- Support in the regular update of health programme database;
- Maintain the Programme Information and Database system to a high level of accuracy and completeness;
- Ensure effective implementation of database back-up;
- Provide quick retrieval of each project achievement and results.
2) Assist to analyze and present data for programme management and visibility functions
- Assist in the preparation of programme evaluation and/or review reports;
- Assist to present and analyze data based on information needs of project managers;
- Assist to ensure proper monitoring and reporting of the programme M&E system;
- Assist to capture targets and achievements on monthly basis by ensuring monthly internal monitoring cycle;
- Provide and update M&E guidelines, data and indicators definitions ;
- Provide support to improve monitoring and reporting mechanism through collaboration with the programme team at central level;
- Establish functioning systems of database for captioned photos showing 'IOM in action' per Photography Guidelines and Data Protection Guidelines, fulfilling donor visibility guidelines, and support development of project and programme visibility materials;
- Track M&E activities using existing tools/ templates as per guidance of Senior Health Database and M&E Associate and Work closely with communication officer to document lessons learned and best practices of the project.
3) Support project related research functions and programme planning
- Assist in the conduct of project baseline and progress surveys (appropriate sample size and sampling survey methods and data collection procedures, data verification though, periodic site visits, where appropriate provide or facilitate necessary training);
- Support the implementation of regular migration surveys ; Assist in situational assessment for development and design of new programming.
4) Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Myanmar National
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Public Health, Epidemiology, Computer science, Statistics, Social science, or a related field)
- Demonstrates the programme values of caring, competence, innovating, partnering, and working for positive change.
- At least two year experience responsible in database, monitoring and evaluation of HIV, TB, Malaria, PHC and MNCH projects
