Description
As a key function of the Campaigns and Communications directorate of Amnesty International, the Language Resource Centre provides expert language and production services to the organization. In the context of the current global transition to move our work closer to the ground, our programme needs tighter integration with other functions in the Strategic Communications field to ensure integrating planning and sound project analysis so that language service requirements are embedded at the commissioning process. We are seeking an individual with a strong analysis capacity, excellent communication and persuasion skills, who is team-work oriented and willing to contribute to the operational change within our team. ABOUT THE ROLE:
Your time will be dedicated to providing leadership on the planning of language work across multiple stakeholders in our global locations. You will contribute to the development of communication strategies, inputting in to global projects and campaigns, ensuring that multilingual needs are considered throughout the process. You will also be responsible for data management, working closely with colleagues to develop the scope of the team, making sure that your project management methodology underpins processes for delivery of communications outputs across all languages.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have a strong project management skills, with experience of planning or resource management in a multilingual communications environment. Your strong motivational skills will help to lead and develop a team and your confidence in monitoring, evaluating and advising on workflows and processes will help to strengthen team outputs. You will have experience of and are capable of handling confidential information relating to human rights issues and a good working knowledge of another language is also desirable.
