The International Potato Center is is seeking a Consultant for HR Policy drafting and editing.
Consultancy profile:
- English speaking (mother tongue) HR, business or government professional with experience in writing and editing to support CIP in updating HR Operational policies.
Purpose of Assignment/Background Information:
- Develop a complete HR policy manual for CIP
Level of Effort:
- Weekly part time work including a weekly 1-hour standing meeting with Assignment manager at CIP HQ to review progress and questions (Date and time TBD)
Specific Tasks to be Completed (Scope of Work):
- Organize and design an HR Policy manual (modeled after manuals produced by other international NGO and CGIAR centers as appropriate)
- Write HR policies to be included in the HR manual
- Incorporate existing CIP policies and maintain the guidelines of CIP's existing framework policies
- Edit existing CIP policies to remove procedures
- Edit the HR policy manual as feedback is provided
Deliverables, Outputs or Other Follow-up:
- An HR policy manual in Word format (hyperlinks included); ready for editing
- Word document (draft format) that includes any procedures removed from the existing CIP policy documents
Evaluation Points:
- Progress meetings will be held at the end of each month to evaluate the progress of the project and timelines
Payment:
- Depending on experience
