For the past 50 years Amnesty International (AI) has brought people together to fight for human rights. Strong organisational leadership and governance are vital to the impact of our work at AI. The Governance Programme drives for stronger and more effective governance.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this new role, you’ll support the Governance Programme with the ongoing process of governance reform and work on several specific projects to strengthen the international board at Amnesty International. This post will help to ensure that the Programme delivers on its purpose to implement and coordinate processes and systems to enhance its overall effectiveness.

ABOUT US:
Our aim is simple: an end to human rights abuses. Independent, international and influential, we campaign for justice, freedom and truth wherever they’re denied. Already our network of over three million members and supporters is making a difference in 150 countries. And whether we’re applying pressure through powerful research or direct lobbying, mass demonstrations, human rights education, or online campaigning, we’re all inspired by hope for a better world. One where human rights are respected and protected by everyone, everywhere.
