OVERALL VIEW OF THE POST Under the overall authority of the IIEP Director and the direct supervision of the Coordinator of the Pôle de Dakar, the incumbent will perform the tasks that are specifically related to communication Pôle de Dakar; namely: 1234567develop Pole de Dakar's website content and update it regularly; draft the Pole Mag (a biannual magazine of the Pole), and follow up on its publication and dissemination; draft country notes; follow up the publication and dissemination of analytical products division; regularly update Pole's server and its structure; update the retro-planning and monitoring of Pole's publications and ; provide administrative support as requested. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION
- Masters' degree in the field of communication, journalism, or public relations or other relevant field. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- At least 1 year of working experience in the areas of communication. COMPETENCES and SKILLS
- Extensive skills and competencies in the field of communication and information (including web based).
- Strong drafting skills, writing and communication.
- Good ability to work in team.
LANGUAGES
- A working knowledge of French and excellent writing skills in that language is necessary. Good knowledge of English DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS
- A good knowledge of issues related to education in the context of developing African countries would be a valuable asset.
- Ability to work quickly.
- Ability to work under pressure. LANGUAGES
- Knowledge of Portuguese would be an asset.

They consist of a basic salary and a post adjustment which reflects the cost of living of the duty station and exchange rates.
