The DPE IT Pro Marketing and Evangelism Team is a multi-faceted global business, supporting and encompassing technical e-learning programs, in-person technical events around the world, millions of software evaluation download experiences, hundreds of user group communities and full-scale go-to-market activities around the world. 

We are seeking a top talent to join our senior leadership team to drive strategic business planning and deliver actionable insights from our research for this diverse and exciting business. This is a unique role with exposure to every aspect of the business during one of the most critical and exciting time periods Microsoft has had with IT Professionals in decades. Successful candidates should have exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills and have a proven track record for collaborating across teams and organizations to drive for results. 

Responsibilities: 
-Collaborate across a variety of cross-function roles and teams to define and foster a productive and proactive business cadence that enables strategic, timely decision-making, drives rich business and audience insights, mitigates churn and fosters innovative best practices. 
-Member of the IT Pro leadership team running the rhythm of the business (ROB) including planning, priority-setting, and results management. 
-Manage a complex, multi-million dollar budget. 
-Manage vendor resources that support day-to-day business rhythms and activities. 
-Drive a detailed strategy and planning process for MYR, PRISM, WWSMM, Executive & ROB reviews. 
-Develop a robust internal communication structure and rhythm. 
-Manage the creation and implementation of global IT Pro research plans in partnership with the Corporate Research teams to deliver actionable data to drive business decisions.
-Collaborate across a variety of cross-function teams including Product teams, CPE and Research teams to foster audience insights and voice of customer data to influence IT Pro programs and long range planning.

Qualifications & Experience:
-Bachelors degree; MBA preferred
-7+ years of experience in strategic planning, business or communications management
-Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
-Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
-Ability to translate high-level business problems into actionable analysis and land recommendations
-Strong project management capabilities to drive multiple projects/priorities simultaneously
-Ability to quickly and efficiently sort through data to identify key issues or variables to consider in making important strategic decisions
-Strong organizational agility and cross-group collaboration 
-Negotiation and critical thinking skills
-Passion for technology and customers
