This is a high-visibility position in the Dynamics AX Sustained Engineering team that is focused on driving product lifecycle engineering solutions that delight partners and customers, improve product adoption, and change the way the world looks at Microsoft as an ERP solutions provider.
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated developer with strong technical skills. The ideal candidate should have a strong track record of individual excellence, innovative thinking, and collaboration. The Dynamics AX Sustained Engineering team is a globally distributed team and you will have the opportunities to travel & train our vendor developers located in China and India.
This position will enable you to build on your core product development skills and learn how to drive and manage short and medium term software development projects. This role is considered critical to Dynamics AX’s long-term success.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Drive all aspect of incoming issues to successful resolution within the agreed SLA
Investigating, debugging and resolving incoming within the agreed SLA
Own and drive supportability and serviceability design changes for Dynamics AX features through cross group collaboration
Engage directly with partner and customer to understand key lifecycle scenarios and pain points when evaluating, deploying, and maintaining Dynamics AX ERP solutions.
Develop and manage software projects to create innovative lifecycle engineering solutions
Design best practices guidelines and engineering excellence steps around lifecycle engineering for Dynamics AX
Required Experience and Skill set:
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years as a software developer with software engineering experience.
Ability to understand ERP customer scenarios, challenges and opportunities and formulate creative solutions.
Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication. Strong interpersonal skills.
3 years C++/C, .NET experience
Knowledge of Sharepoint development, SQL/SSRS, WCF and Azure is preferred
Knowledge of ERPs systems, Dynamics AX or X++ is preferred
