Fundamentals group in AAPT organization is responsible for engineering excellence of all products and services, and focus on real world customer experience from Enterprise to Web hosting to Cloud computing. We are looking for talented engineers who are willing to take ownership and strive for continuous improvement of engineering excellence.We need a Software Development Engineer to work on servicing or feature development of the products in AAPT. Key responsibilities include,
- Investigating issues reported by customers/partner teams, recommending workarounds, proposing and implementing solutions
- Improving the processes/infrastructure and striving for high quality releases of products
- Partnering with feature developers to review changes and promote engineering best practices
- Working closely with partner servicing teams and participating in their workflows
- Interacting with customers via direct and indirect engagements
A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Great driving and communication skills
- Strong customer focus and passion for doing the right thing for the customers
- Excellent technical skills, attention to details, strong problem solving skills
- Good understanding of the software development cycle
- 2+ years of software development experience and proficiency in native and managed code
- Working knowledge of web technologies, including IIS, ASP.NET, WCF, WF, MSDTC, AppFabric etc.
- BS in CS/CE or equivalent experience required
