Job Description
ICANN has an exciting new opportunity for a business analyst at its office in Los Angeles, California, USA. This is a great opportunity and a role that blends project management along with hands-on process and procedure design and implementation activities.
  • This is a new full time position reporting to the gTLD Operations Director.
Specific Duties (include, but not limited to):
  • Interpret policies to design and document respective processes and procedures necessary to implement said policies.
  • Document existing processes and procedures through research and interview
  • Compile and analyze findings and recommend improvements on existing business processes.
  • Create high-level business requirements/use cases and coordinate with technical business analyst resources for continued development of the required solutions.
  • Interface with technical and other cross-functional teams to enhance existing products and services either through automated solutions or process improvements.
  • Act as business process specialist, supporting and training end users and customer service center personnel
  • Support training and troubleshooting of production issues as needed.

Required Skills
  • Undergraduate degree or related business discipline, advanced degree a plus
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Be comfortable working in fast paced, team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies, organizational and procedural changes.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft office, including Visio.

Required Experience
2-5 years relevant work experience designing, documenting, and improving processes.
