JOB ANNOUNCEMENT Médecins sans Frontières – Switzerland (MSF-CH) is a private non-governmental organization, which provides humanitarian assistance to all victims of natural man-made disaster. MSF observes strict neutrality with respect to political issues and acts without making any discrimination on the basis of race, religion, ideology or political opinion. MSF does not run any political, economic or religious activity. We are looking for motivated and experienced candidates for the position of: MEDICAL DOCTOR (Mobile Clinic) For MSF PROJECT IN Rakhine State MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To provide the appropriate treatment and care for patients according to the MSF protocol and guidelines.
  • To provide medical care to malnourished children according to MSF nutrition protocols
  • Together with Mobile Clinic Team Leader (MSF expatriate staff), responsible for the daily management and supervision of mobile clinic activities and other MSF staff.
  • To make proper referrals of severe patients to DoH facilities according to the referral protocol.
  • To collect data and report about mortality and morbidities treated in each mobile clinic site.
  • Together with other MSF team members, involve in developing and implementing new clinics initiatives.
  • To laise with MSF expatriate staff in contact with local community, authorities of both administrative and medical.
RECRUITMENT CRITERIA
  • Recognized medical doctor diploma/degree with valid SAMA
  • Previous working experience with humanitarian organization and interest in public health in remote population are assest.
  • Should have skills on reporting and analysis
  • At least 1 year clinical experience essential.
  • Fluent in English and Myanmar.
  • Organisation skills, rigour, flexibility, ability to work with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural people, open-minded, good communication skills, ability to listen, diplomacy
