Child Protection Officer - NOB (Post reference #85937)
Purpose of the post:
Accountable for professional technical contribution to project design, planning administration, monitoring and evaluation of Child Protection programme/project activities with special focus to Child justice, Systems Strengthening on Child Protection structures, Child Friendly Policing, etc. He/She will contribute to capacity building of partners, data analysis and progress reporting, in support of achievement of planned objectives of the work plan.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree in the Social Sciences, Law, or Child Development or Child Rights and Child Protection.
- Two years of relevant professional work experience.
Competencies: Communication, Working with People, Drive for Results, Formulating Strategies and Concepts, Analyzing, Applying Technical Expertise, Learning and Researching, Planning and Organizing.
Additional Skills:
- Computer skills, including advanced internet navigation and various office applications;
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment;
- Excellent spoken and written English.
