The Communications and Donor Relations Division (CDRD) of WorldFish is currently seeking for a Digital Communications intern for the following functions:

• Identify current media and social media trends relevant to the work of WorldFish
• Recommend potential stories for the WorldFish website and social media
• Assist with:
  • Selecting external stories for sharing through WorldFish and AAS social media
  • The maintenance of the WorldFish Flickr account
  • Media contact list maintenance
  • The creation of written content for the WorldFish website, including news articles and blogs
  • Uploading content to the WorldFish website
• Other relevant activities assigned by the Director of the Division

Key Requirements

• Degree in communication/journalism/media relations or related field with a strong interest in traditional media and digital marketing
• Intermediate HTML skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong editing skills
• Demonstrated ability to work to a deadline and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
• Hard working with a good work ethic
• Proficiency in English

Duration
