The Project
The Dynamics HCM team specializes in best in class solutions enabling businesses to manage their most critical assets - people! 
As part of the Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP suite, the HCM team delivers a complete solution that targets the increasing demands of midsize and larger companies. Whether deployed to the cloud or on premise, Dynamics AX integrates a number of Microsoft technologies to create a large scale application that is uniquely customized for each customer installation. 

The HCM team also builds services that target specific business workloads in the enterprise. These people centric workloads are the way of the future for business applications and will target a high percentage of employees in a business. The services will leverage Microsoft investments in Yammer, O365, and other cloud assets while being delivered only as a cloud based solution in Azure.

Your Role
As part of the unified engineering team in Dynamics, you will have the opportunity to apply quality focused engineering practices to your daily work. Our Scenario Focused Engineering approach will enable you to understand the customer and apply your creativity to designs that delight customers. Applying strong object oriented development practices in a test driven approach will bring those designs to fruition. We are looking for experienced technical resources with strong skills to help drive these efforts.

You will work closely with PMs and other engineers on a feature team in a highly collaborative environment. Agile and lean development practices will be used to deliver early and often with a focus on continuous improvement.

You will become a productive team member through your knowledge in and ability to learn technologies and practices such as HTML5, SQL Server, .Net, JavaScript, REST based services, analytics, design patterns, unit and functional testing, OO design, and more. Your background in or ability to quickly learn and drive technical direction on business software domain concepts will drive up your and the team’s effectiveness.

The Location
Fargo is home to over 1600 Microsoft employees and vendors, including a significant number of development team members. It is one of Microsoft’s largest US campuses outside of Redmond and is home to state of the art facilities. The Fargo-Moorhead area is the largest metropolitan area between Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota and Spokane, Washington. In the past few years, several magazines have proclaimed Fargo-Moorhead as one of the most stress free metropolitan areas in America. Qualifications and Skills
Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent collaboration skills.
Proven record of independently handling and showing technical leadership on complex projects.
Strong demonstration of customer focused quality delivery.
Excellent software development skills from requirements through delivery.
HCM domain experience preferred.
Managed code development experience preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. 
Minimum of 6 years of experience working on a development team in the software industry.
